DescriptionThe Beatles Group of Four Michael Ward Lithographs Taken February 19th, 1963 with Embossing Stamp. Michael Ward was a well respected photojournalist and his brush with the Beatles captured a brief period in time before Beatlemania took hold of the world.
On February 19th 1963 the Beatles were informed that "Please Please Me" had reached number one in the U.K. singles chart. That was also the day that they met Michael Ward. He was commissioned to photograph the Fabs for a music magazine. 1) All four Beatles on the ledge outside next to a statue in Liverpool; 2) John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison in George Martins office. Minor nail dent on front top left corner; 3) John Lennon with girl; 4) Paul McCartney walking outside with lady fans in Liverpool. Each limited edition lithograph measures approx: 12 1/2" by 16 3/4". On 300gsm archival paper and is official with Michael Wards embossing stamp. Beautiful black and white images In overall Near Mint condition and ready to frame for display.
