Five photos total, taken in 1979 during the filming of the Who rockumentary The Kids Are Alright by Rock photographer Nancy Andrews. Includes: 1) a color closeup of Moon with the ocean behind him; 2) a black and white shot of Moon on the beach; 3) three color shots of Keith Moon and Ringo Starr sitting on the beach, with one showing Zak Starkey - Ringo's son and drummer for the Who since 1996 - sitting between them. As Nancy was Ringo's girlfriend at the time, these photos are an incredibly relaxed, candid glimpse into the worlds of two of the most famous drummers to ever have lived.     Noted photographer of musicians and pop culture figures, Nancy Lee Andrews is a former model who was once engaged to the Beatles' Ringo Starr. Though based in Nashville, her adventures have taken her around the globe, where she has photographed music's heavyweights, from Starr, George Harrison, and Eric Clapton to the Band, Charlie Daniels, Carl Perkins and beyond. Here we present a wonderful selection of her photography, on offer for auction with full copyright for the first time anywhere. Ranging from 1971 through 1988, some of these images are candid, while others are outtakes of promotional sessions. All are unique glimpses into the lives of some of the most important figures the world of popular music has ever known.
