Description

Jimi Hendrix Rare "Gipsy Eyes" Karl Ferris Limited Edition Photograph, #3 of 100. In 1967, Hendrix was introduced to Karl Ferris by his manager Chas Chandler. After looking at his portfolio, Hendrix told him: "You're doing with photography what I'm doing with music - going far out beyond the limits and blowing minds." Ferris would create photos for all three of the Jimi Hendrix Experience albums released in the U.S. This is one of his fabulous 1967 studio images of Hendrix wearing his "Gypsy Eyes" jacket. The size is 16" x 20" and Ferris has signed in silver at lower right. It is printed on Kodak Professional Endura paper, hand-titled and numbered on the back as "3 of 100 Premier Edition". Excellent condition.
