Description

Jimi Hendrix Limited Edition Print Of Fillmore East Performance By Jim Cummins (1969) Later high quality color print of Hendrix during his December 31 1969 performance at Fillmore East. The verso is numbered "1/5" in pencil. From an edition of only five, measuring 16" x 20". COA from IconicPhotos.

This particular photo was taken by Jim Cummins at Jimi Hendrix's very last performance at Fillmore East before Hendrix died in 1970, a special New Year's Eve show at Fillmore East that Bill Graham, owner of Fillmore East, asked Hendrix to do for him there on New Year's Eve, 12/31/1969. This photo was then used as the cover photo for the Jimi Hendrix Rare album and as the cover photo for the bestselling Hendrix biography, Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child of the Aquarian Age by David Henderson.
