Jazz - Ninety Five Unpublished Color Stereoscopic Slides of Anthony Quinn, Uta Hagen, Pee Wee Russell and Others (1949-1955). All original glass slides, most with "Character Arts / Cleveland, Ohio" paper label with typed details of the artists, venue, and date, showing legendary theatrical actors and Jazz figures both on and off stage. Performers include: Anthony Quinn and Uta Hagen in A Streetcar Named Desire, 1949 (Quinn - x9), (Hagen - x6); Pee Wee Russell, 1949 (x2); Johnny Ray, 1951 (x13); Champ Butler, 1951 (x3); Gene Rodgers, 1952 (x2). Others featured: Art Hodes, Harry Kersey, Pamela Caveness, Raymond Scott, Billy House, Sammy White, and many more. All slides measure approximately 4" x 1.75". Generally the slides are in Fine to Excellent condition, with some loss to trim on slides, and discoloration to labels. The actual images are in Excellent condition.
