Elvis Presley Original Vintage Photographs From The Collection of Ken Moore. The late Ken Moore was the big, friendly-faced head of security for Elvis in the late 50s and early 60s. This incredible set of 12 original 8.5" x 11" vintage photographs - many of which we've never before seen -- have been consigned to this sale by Ken's family. Most of them are from that momentous day in March 1961 when Elvis was discharged from the Army at Fort Dix, NJ, with Ken right by Elvis in nearly every photo. There's another shot of Elvis and Colonel Parker enjoying a meal under Ken's watchful eye, and a terrific pair of photos of Ken and Elvis in what may be a train car, with Ken apparently helping Elvis with his makeup, and the two of them engaged in a congenial bout of wrestling. A Colonel Parker mailing envelope, and a typed note on Colonel Parker's stationery signed by Tom Driskin accompanies the photos, which reads: "Dear Ken: The Colonel gold hold of these pictures for you personally but he said make sure they don't get out for they are not for publication. Hope you are all in the pink. Best from all of us. Tom." All items are in Very Good condition, the mailing envelope torn from opening but fully intact.
