Beatles Original Cavern Club Rehearsal Photo by Photographer Peter Kaye (Liverpool, 1962). A fabulous 10" x 8" B&W matte-finish photo of the seated lads playing at the Cavern on August 22, 1962. This was just four days after Ringo joined the group so some rehearsal was likely in order. The lunchtime session that day was filmed by Granada Television for their Know the North program. This photo was printed from the original negative and comes directly from the archive of Peter Kaye photography; the archive is extremely limited in quantity as most of the photographs from the business were destroyed by a fire in the 1990s. Excellent condition.
