DescriptionBeatles Large Candid Photos (Three) Taken in February 1964 by Harry Benson at the Plaza Hotel in New York. Three amazing and unfamiliar B&W matte-finish photos, ranging from 11.5 x 14.75" to 12" x 15". One portrays Paul holding a beverage in a glass (Scotch and Coke?) up in front of his face. Another has Paul, still holding his drink, looking bemused as Ringo stares deeply into a Heinz ketchup bottle. The third, double matted to 16" x 20", is an awesome shot of all four together- Paul and John are playing the piano, George is strumming his Gibson J160E, and Ringo is looking on with a comb in his hand. Benson traveled to America with the Beatles on their first trip and captured many fabulous behind-the-scenes images. All three are stamped on the verso: "Daily Express/ Harry Benson/ Photograph". A few minor dings and corner bumps, overall Fine condition and perfect for display.
