    Description

Beatles - Five Early Photos Signed by Astrid Kirchherr (Hamburg, 1962). In 1962, German photographer Astrid Kirchherr captured a group of fantastic images of the Beatles as a five-piece. Here are five of those photographs, in dramatic black & white, each measuring 12" x 15.75". The lot consists of three close ups: one each of John, George, and early bassist Stuart Sutcliffe, as well as a shot of John sitting on a truck, and a wonderful photo of John, George, and Stuart in front of the truck, instruments in hand. Three photos feature Kirchherr's elegant autograph at the bottom-left corner in silver paint, while the remaining two display her signature in pencil on the verso. Excellent. COA from Heritage Auctions.
