Beatles 1966 Cincinnati Concert Photos. Includes 13 b&w snapshots and three b&w 8" x 10" photos of the Beatles' taken by Cincinnati Enquirer photographer Fred Straub during their August 21, 1966 performance at Crosley Field. The concert was originally scheduled for the day before but was delayed due to heavy rain. They also had a show scheduled in St. Louis on that day, meaning they had to give two concerts on the same day in cities that were 341 miles apart, ultimately flying to St. Louis to perform the second show at Busch Stadium at 8:30 p.m. -- in heavy rain. The photos are in Very Fine condition, with photographer stamps on the reverse of the larger shots. Also included is a letter from Straub that accompanied the photos when they were originally purchased.
