DescriptionAn Elvis Presley Group of Never-Before-Seen Color Slides, 1950s-1960s. Forty-two total; all shot by press photographer Roy Cummings over the course of a decade but never published; six depict EP (as others surround him) wearing a purple velvet shirt in candid shots after a performance in Tupelo, Mississippi in 1956 (seven modern-day enlargements of these slides are included); 17 depict EP wearing a red shirt and black jacket backstage somewhere circa 1968 (with an extra one showing Priscilla in the audience at this show); 7 depict EP wearing a black suit as he performs on stage also circa 1968; 7 depict EP wearing a white fringed jumpsuit performing on stage circa 1972; three depict EP (surrounded by others) at different times in the late 1960s; and one depicts Priscilla alone; all are encased in their cardboard frames with stamps showing Cummings' name and address as well as some of his handwritten annotations.
