    Description

U2 1981 Amsterdam Concert Poster. A thin-paper, vibrant poster for a U2 show at the famed Amsterdam venue, Paradiso, in early 1981. Playing the former church-turned-venue, the Irish quartet was touring behind their fantastic debut LP, Boy. Only a few years before, they were a group of teenagers who barely knew how to play music, making more feedback than actual melody, but inspired by the Clash, the Jam, Television, and Public Image Ltd, with the hopes of being a big band. With the success of Boy, the band would go onto becoming one of the best bands of the 1980s. Measures 17" x 24". In Near Mint Minus condition with light handling wear in various spots. COA from Heritage Auctions.
