    Otis Redding Leo's Casino Concert Poster For His Last Ever Performances (1967). Extremely Rare. Announcing "One Day Only / OTIS REDDING / Revue Featuring The / Bar-Kays / 3 Shows / Saturday, December 9th, 1967 / At Cleveland's Leading Nite Club / Leo's Casino / 7500 Euclid Ave". Measures 14" x 22". In Very Good condition with staple holes to corners and another between the "a" and "y" in "Day", 1.5" tear to the lower edge, a horizontal crease across the poster, above "Leo's Casino", with a 1.5" tear to the right edge, general wear and creases, spotting to lower edge. The reverse is inscribed in pen "Killed Dec 10th (all 4) Airplane Crash". The poster is accompanied by a yellow printed rectangular card with black printed text "This Pass Worth $.75 Toward Admission / At / Leo's Casino / 7500 Euclid Avenue". Measures 4" x 2.25". In Good condition with considerable wear and discoloration, staple holes with some tears, an illegible name written on the front in black ink. The reverse is inscribed with the telephone number for a "lawyer".

    This is the only known example of this poster.

    On 9th December, 1967, Otis Redding performed on the TV show "Upbeat" in Cleveland, and played three shows at Leo's Casino. Despite bad weather warnings, in the early hours of December 10, Redding took off on his private plane for Madison, the next leg of the tour. The plane crashed into a lake, four miles from its destination and Redding was killed, along with four members of the Bar-Kays.
