The Beatles: Collection of Storyboard and Idea Sketches for "The Beatles" Cartoon Series. Found on forty-six total sheets (thirty-one long sheets [18" x 7.75"] and fifteen half sheets [9.25" x 8"]), each sketch is done in pencil with several notations done in red. Consisting of an upper and lower box bordered in green or black (those with black border have a third smaller box between), the upper box contains a sketch of the characters, the lower box prospective dialog. The group is in Very Good condition.The Beatles animated television series ran for three seasons, between 1965 and 1969 (the fourth year consisted entirely of reruns), with a total of thirty-nine episodes. Each episode provided a visual depiction of Beatles songs, which were played in full. The members of the band reportedly hated the show at first, but grew fond of it in later years.
