Frank Zappa - Two Pieces of Zappa-Inspired Art. Here are two pieces of surreal, otherworldly Zappa inspired art. The larger piece, measuring 25.25" x 37.75", is a nightmarish painting by frequent Zappa collaborator David McMacken. From the first-person perspective of a person in a cage, playing guitar to an audience of terrifying, malformed, perverse creatures beneath a starry night sky, this piece has a dreamlike quality, if those dreams were filtered through a severely bad trip! The second piece, every bit as perverse, but less horrifying, is a mixed-media painting of Frank Zappa, surrounded by filthy jokes and pop culture references including Batman and Godzilla. Conjured up by artist Jerome Martin in the late 1970's, this irreverent piece is framed to 15.75" x 18.5". In Fine condition, with slight rub-wear to the edges of the McMacken piece. From Bill's the "mo" Years at Warner Brothers Collection.
