Beatles - John Lennon "My Heart Hurts" Original Drawing. An immensely desirable, one-of-a-kind drawing of Lennon, uttering "My heart hurts" in Japanese, on bended knee, offering a flower to a standing Yoko. Ono answers, also in Japanese, "You have to see a doctor!" Executed in black ink on sketch paper, with a sight size of approximately 7.75" x 4.5", matted in white and framed to an overall 23" x 19.75". The drawing is in Near Mint condition.

Exhibiting his typical humor and style, this is one of 21 drawings rendered by Lennon while studying Japanese at Berlitz under the direction of Lynne Cushman. He used them during the course as study aides, helping him to retain the language. According to a Letter of Authenticity attached to the verso, they were given to Cushman after the course's completion. Also on the verso of the frame is a copy of Lennon's enrollment form.
