DescriptionBeatles - Fine Art Giclee Print By Shannon Depicting Apple Press Conference.
This giclee print by renowned Beatles artist Shannon depicts John and Paul side-by-side in front of a bank of microphones at New York's Americana Hotel on May 14th, 1968, as they held a press conference to announce the formation of the Beatles' company Apple. It was at this conference that this famous exchange took place: Reporter: "What is Apple, John?" John: "It's a business concerning records, films, and electronics. And as a sideline, whatever it's called... manufacturing, or whatever. But we want to set up a system whereby people who just want to make a film about anything, don't have to go on their knees in somebody's office. Probably yours." The print measures 38" x 28" and is printed on canvas mounted on a wooden stretcher. In Very Good condition, with a few small indistinct surface scuffs.
