    Mötley Crüe - Mick Mars Custom-Made, Owned, and Played Gibson SG Guitar S# 91217426 (Gibson, c. 1990s). Mick Mars played this guitar during the Mötley Crüe Generation Swine Tour and Mötley Crüe Vs. The Earth Tour in 1997. This guitar was also featured on the cover of the October, 1997 issue of Metal Edge magazine. The guitar has the Mötley Crüe logo on the headstock as well as the Generation Swine logo on the pick guard. The only known Mars-owned guitar to hit the auction block just sold for over $60,000 earlier this year. Mick Mars has created some of the most well known guitar riffs in rock history including "Home Sweet Home," "Dr. Feelgood," "Girls Girls Girls," "Wild Side," "Looks That Kill," and "Kickstart My Heart," to name just a few. Also includes the matching Gibson case, an aluminum plaque describing the guitar, two copies of the magazine cover featuring this guitar, and a signed COA from Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx.
