Jimi Hendrix Personally Owned 1930's Vintage Microphone. This vintage microphone served as funky decor in Jimi Hendrix's 59 West 12th street apartment during Jimi's last years of living in New York City. It was one of a selection of items that was given by the Hendrix family, after Jimi's accidental death in London, to Bob and Kathy Levine, members of his management team and close, trusted friends. The microphone is a typical Astatic announcers' mic, approximately 15 inches in height, and very heavy! Jimi's digs in lower Manhattan had some wild decor, angels and penguins and prayer rugs, but this is the only music-related item we know of. According to Bob and Kathy Levine, Jimi purchased this as a relic from Atlantic City's Steel Pier where it served to announce live acts during the 30s. Provenance: ex-Jimi Hendrix, ex-Bob and Kathy Levine, Hendrix management team; letter of authenticity from the Levines included.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
