Mick Jagger Signed Check to Billy Preston with 1975 American Tour Documents. A personal Bank of New York check #101, dated March 3, 1975, on Michael P. Jagger's account made out by him for $6.50 to the legendary keyboardist Billy Preston, signed "Mick Jagger". Also included are five vintage photocopied pages of the tour itineraries for dates at Boston Garden and Madison Square Garden in late June 1975 (the first tour with Ronnie Wood). Preston played keyboards on that tour and seemed to be the target of some good-natured kidding. One of these hotel assignment sheets has a notation at the bottom: "Contrary to popular belief Billy Preston does not like white boys and he is staying at the YWCA." The next day's schedule noted: "Billy Preston is now at the YMCA and not the YWCA as previously announced. Check excellent, tour documents Fine. COA from Heritage Auctions.
