Michael Jackson Stage Worn and Signed Fedora and T-Shirt from His Bad Tour in a Shadow Box Display (1988). Michael Jackson's tour for his enormous smash album Bad is the second highest grossing tour of the 1980s and was noted for having the highest attendance in history. Though Michael had been a star nearly his entire life, the Bad tour took place at the height of Michaelmania in the late 1980s, when Jackson's star was brightest.

Offered here are two pieces of Pop history: one of Michael's black wool fedoras signed in white by him on the crown indentation and a white t-shirt signed "Michael Jackson / I love you" in black felt pen, both worn on stage during a performance on the Bad tour in 1988. Both items are mounted in a wonderful shadow box display with a letter on MJJ Productions letterhead, also signed by Michael, dated July 22, 1988 and stating where the pieces were worn, the envelope from the letter, a fantastic black and white promotional live shot of Jackson, and a descriptive placard. The entire display measures approximately 64" x 43" x 7". In Fine, stage-used condition showing slight wear, and moderate yellowing to the shirt. Also included with this lot is a copy of the book Maker of Dreams by Michael's amusement ride consultant and park developer Rob Swinson, signed and inscribed by the author. COA from Heritage Auctions. From the Personal Archive and Collection of Robert E. "Rob" Swinson; Michael Jackson's Personal Neverland Valley "Maker of Dreams".
