The General Register, (Two Copies, UK, 1968) With Very Early Photos of The Beatles. Published by Glenlock Press Ltd, (T.U.) in late 1968, The General Register presented Beatles fans with four elaborate fold-out booklets which housed printed facsimiles of each Beatle's birth certificate information - date, place, parent's names and home addresses, etc. A short biography of each Beatle is presented within each booklet, and titled "A Twentieth-Century Fairy Tale". The cover art presents each Beatle as a psychedelic playing card, and each measures approximately 8" x 7". Two copies are included here - one set which is opened from it's cellophane packaging, each card in Excellent condition, and one set still sealed, the cellophane slightly opened at one end, also in Excellent condition. Included are two 5" x 7" later print photographs from the Blaschke collection of the four Beatles at very young ages: the teenage Quarrymen John, Paul, and George, circa 1958, and Ringo appearing with Rory Storm and the Hurricanes at Butlin's Holiday Camp, circa 1960 - just a few months before the Beatles and the Hurricanes would share the bill at the Kaiserkeller in Hamburg. From the Uwe Blaschke Beatles Collection.
