    Description

The Beatles Original Toy Banjo (Mastro Industries USA, 1964). Rare example manufactured from 1964-66 by Mastro Industries in New York. This four-stringed instrument with nice graphics includes original strings and tuning pegs on a gold headstock. Offered here is nice displayable example. The banjo shows wear, marks and some scuffing. The gold rim has a crack on the bottom below the tail piece but still holds together. The banjo instrument has a connection to John Lennon since his mother Julia taught him how to play "That'll Be the Day" by Buddy Holly on a banjo. Finding these instruments is not easy which makes them extremely collectible. Get yours here. From the Connie and Dennis Dailey Monumental Beatles Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
