    Description

The Beatles Original Toy Banjo (Mastro Industries USA, 1964). Rare example manufactured from 1964-66 by Mastro Industries in New York. This four-stringed instrument with nice graphics includes original strings and tuning pegs on a gold headstock. Offered here is nice displayable example. The banjo shows wear, marks and some scuffing. The gold rim has a crack on the bottom below the tail piece but still holds together. The banjo instrument has a connection to John Lennon since his mother Julia taught him how to play "That'll Be the Day" by Buddy Holly on a banjo. Finding these instruments in Very Good condition is not easy which makes them extremely collectible. Get yours here. From the Connie and Dennis Dailey Monumental Beatles Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
