DescriptionThe Beatles Original Abbey Road Floor Display in the Box (1969). When the Beatles' Abbey Road album was released, it was truly a milestone. Now with the 50th anniversary in 2019, this promotional stand up is one of the most scarce and desirable in the hobby. A two-piece cardboard display; top half has some corner wear and measures approx: 22 ½" by 27" with an enlargement of the album cover includes die cut figures of the Beatles crossing Abbey Road. The bottom half standing approx: 27" tall is a black record bin with "The Beatles" printed in green on the front; a green apple on the side and a white arrow with a crack in it points up on the base. The bottom half has some yellowing and stains due to age. All in the original shipping box. We cannot stress enough how hard it is to find this display. Truly a cornerstone piece for the collection. From the Connie and Dennis Dailey Monumental Beatles Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
