    Description

The Beatles Indiana State Fair Concert Unused Ticket (1964). A white ticket to the Beatles' September 3, 1964, Thursday afternoon (5:00) show at the Indiana State Fair. Encased in plexi. Ticket measures approx: 5.375" x 2.125" in size and illustrated with facial photos. This was the first of two shows in Indianapolis that day. The story goes that prior to the concert Ringo Starr went missing. He arrived just minutes before they were due to go onstage, explaining that he had lost track of time while driving a police car around a nearby race track. Great piece of original Beatles history. From the Connie and Dennis Dailey Monumental Beatles Collection. COA from Heritage Auctions.
