A collection of Beatles era replica and limited edition materials from Stuarts sister Pauline Sutcliffe. 1) Top left: A depiction of Stuart's 8' by 4' Summer Painting, bought by John Moores for 65 pounds enabling Stuart to purchase his bass guitar; 2) Far left: A draft letter from Stuart, posing as the group's manager trying to get gigs. Note the spelling of the Beatals; 3) Left: Song list from Stuart's notebook; 4) Top: Stuart's identity card from the art college in Hamburg; 5) Above: Stuart's check book, with the stub noting a payment to Hessy's Music shop to cover Paul McCartney's hire purchase; 6) Top right: Stuart,John,George, Paul and Pete Best with a friend at the Indra Club in Hamburg 1960; 7) Right: A page of a letter to his sister Pauline after he left the group in 1961, with sketches of the style of suit the Beatles later adopted. This Piece gives a wonderful insight to the Beatles and Stuart's role early on in their career. Measures approx: 24" by 32" Matted & Framed.
