Rolling Stones 1976 Rare Band-Only European Tour Sweater A rare blue sweater that was never sold to the public; it was made only for the Stones and their inner circle, for their 1976 European tour supporting their new album Black and Blue, which was #1 for a month in America and signified Ron Wood's debut.

Collared neck with long sleeves and two small pockets on the front. Front includes "Rolling Stones" embroidered in red letters, "Tour of Europe '76" in white, and a blue-star backdrop. The white tag inside says, "67% Cotton / 23% Viscose / 10% Polyester."

We even have the provenance on this particular jacket: it was owned by one of the stewardesses on "Caesar's Chariot," the tour plane used by the Stones, Led Zeppelin and Elton John. It was given to her in the late 70's by Keith Richards' guitar tech.

Measures 16" from armpit to armpit. In Good condition, with fading and overall wear, especially on the lettering. The letters are coming off, and the fabric feels well worn. COA from Heritage Auctions.
