    Mary Sumner's Diamond Ring from J. D. Sumner. This stunning diamond ring was presented as a gift from gospel singer J. D. Sumner to his wife, Mary. The couple was married for an impressive 52-and-a-half years, and during that time Sumner took great delight in presenting gifts such as this one to his beloved wife.
    The diamond and platinum wedding set consists of a 2.67k diamond center stone and a lady's 14k white gold ring guard appointed with 20 baguette cut diamonds, two marquee cut diamonds, and six round diamonds, for a total of weight of approximately 2.75k.
    The ring was later given to J. D. and Mary's daughter, Shirley, after Mary passed away in 1992. It is in Excellent condition. From the J. D. Sumner Estate. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Shirley Sumner Enoch.
