    Description

Led Zeppelin 1975 Stage Blueprint, 1980 Press Kit, and Swan Song Patch. In 1980 North America anxiously awaited Led Zeppelin's first tour of the continent since 1977. The tour was to begin in late 1980, but the tragic, untimely death of drummer John Bonham resulted not only in the cancellation of the tour, but in the band's breaking up. Offered here is a press kit prepared for the tour featuring a 10" x 8" b&w glossy of the band and 14 excerpts from various magazines published in 1977-79. Also enclosed: an 11" x 17" stage blueprint dated 8-3-75, the creator of which must not have been a Rock & Roll fan - misspelling the band's name "Lead Zeppelin" three times! Bonus: a red and white 6.25" x 4" Swan Song clothing patch. From the Stevens Weiss Archive.
