John Lennon Original In His Own Write Granada TV Hardback Book (UK, 1964). An original 1964 UK first edition hardback copy of John Lennon's book, In His Own Write. Book consists of nonsensical poems, short stories, and drawings, published March 23, 1964, in England by Jonathan Cape.

Size measures approx: 5.5" x 7" in a hardbound pictorial cover with a now-famous photo of John by Robert Freeman on the front, seventy-nine pages, heavily illustrated. This was the first Beatle solo project of any sort.

This particular copy has a yellow wrap around sleeve which bears a message from Granada TV; 'Granada send you, with compliments, this newly-published book by John Lennon of The Beatles, yet another product of Granadaland...'. It measures approx: ( 4 1/4" inches x 5 .5" inches across the front and back of the book not including the inner flaps. )
There is some discoloration with minor staining to the sleeve and some tearing to the spine which has been repaired with tape. There is also some creasing to the spine of the book. In overall very good plus condition.
