Elvis Presley's White Silk Scarf. A 35" x 35" white silk scarf worn onstage by Elvis, taken by assistant Sam Thompson from Elvis' luggage at the singer's direction on the morning of August 16, 1977. Thompson was traveling separately from the tour at the time, and it was customary for those who traveled ahead of Elvis to keep several of the scarves handy for presentation to dignitaries and officials. Sadly, Elvis died later that day, and his brilliant career was cut short. The scarf is in Very Fine to Excellent condition with some small areas of soiling, and is accompanied by a notarized letter of authenticity from Thompson.
