One of the Most Important Tickets in the History of Rock N' Roll

Elvis Presley PSA Fully-Authenticated Unused Concert Ticket from His Final Performance (1977). "Take my hand/ Take my whole life too/ For I can't help falling in love with you/ For I can't help falling in love with you."
It was with these words that the greatest figure in American Rock 'n' Roll history walked off the stage in Indianapolis, Indiana and into immortality. Seven weeks later, Presley was found unresponsive on the bathroom floor of his Memphis home, bringing to a close the career and life of one of the most significant cultural figures of the twentieth century. He was forty-two years old.
As the house lights came up and they made their way to the exits, none of the eighteen thousand fans who packed Market Square Arena on June 26, 1977 could have possibly known that they had seen and heard the very last of The King, and while rumors of Presley's health struggles had been tabloid fodder for years already, his voice still delivered on such classics as "Jailhouse Rock", "Don't Be Cruel", and "Hound Dog".
While today one can find a mass of tickets from the shows leading to and after his death, there are only a limited amount known unused tickets from the King's final performance to appear in a PSA slab. This is absolutely one of the most important tickets in the Rock 'n' Roll collecting community.
Ticket was for Section 12, Row K, and Seat 4. Measures 4 ¼" x 1 ¼". The ticket displays well with some toning on the edges and the verso. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, No. 125594573, graded FULL EX 5.
