Elvis Presley Owned and Used Personal Rotary Phone and Wooden Box (1970s). Charlie Hodge was one of Elvis' oldest friends, having first met Presley in the late 1950s and performing multiple responsibilities for him until Presley's death in 1977. Charlie has attested to our offering that "This old style rotary phone in a wooden box with Elvis' Kenpo Karate decal on top of it was a phone he used in his home in Beverly Hills in the early 1970s. Elvis has handwritten his initials on a section of the dial saying 'EP's Private #' and then writing the number in hand on the paper under the plastic. Elvis has also written in block lettering on the interior of the phone case, 'E. P.'s Personal Phone Do Not Use!'" The box measures 10.5" x 8" x 5" and shows very little wear for its age.
