    Elvis Presley "Old Shep" Performance Curtain. This 21.5" x 52" section of red velvet cloth is part of the original curtain that adorned the stage when a 10-year-old Elvis Presley sang his first song in public. Presley performed "Old Shep" during a singing contest at the Mississippi-Alabama Fair and Dairy Show. (Dressed as a cowboy, he stood on a chair to reach the microphone.) He came in fifth place, winning $5 and a free ticket to the fair rides. The curtain is in Excellent condition and is accompanied by a vintage songbook for "Old Shep" with a photo of Elvis on the cover.
