Elvis Presley Graceland Replica Coffee Table and Two Side Tables (1970s). Elvis was a great shopper, and if he saw something he liked he'd often buy it on the spot. Here is a matching set of tables that were purportedly purchased by Elvis while on a tour stop in the Midwest. The matched set of a long coffee table and two smaller side tables is definitely of the Elvis decor aesthetic! Each table is ornately carved of wood with a distressed gold finish. In the center of each table are recessed sections with rich red fabric coverings. Mounted atop the fabric are golden guitars made of wire, and musical notes in painted black wood. Each of the side tables also have two guitar-shaped recessed carvings with the red fabric within. Overall, the effect is quite similar to the famous guitar and music notes of the Gates to Graceland! The story goes that Elvis saw the floor models of these tables in a furniture store and immediately wanted them. The story continues that the owner agreed to sell the floor models to him, but Elvis also ordered another set and those tables (which is the set for sale here) were never picked up or shipped to him. We do know that there is a photograph (shown here) of one of the end tables -- presumably the floor model Elvis purchased -- next to Elvis' grand piano at Graceland in the 2005 book Elvis By The Presleys (Crown Publishers) which accompanied the CBS television special by the same name) establishing a connection for the tables offered for sale to Graceland and Elvis. The coffee table measures 67" x 31" x 17", and each end table is 27" x 27" x 19". In Good condition with some minor nicks and scratches, and the coffee table without the glass top which is present on each of the side tables. From the Oshei Family Collection.

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
