Elvis Presley Collection of Twenty Early Fan Magazines (1956-1966). A group of mostly Movie and TV titles from the late 1950s. We note five of these with photos of Elvis as a G.I. on their covers. The October 1958 Photoplay cover has "Elvis' last words to you before going overseas 'Please Don't Forget Me While I'm Gone'" [was he really worried?]. The March 1960 issue of the same magazine advertises "Contest- win a 'welcome home' Date with Elvis" on their cover. The May 1960 issue of TV and Movie Screen offers us "Elvis Presley's First Interview as a Civilian!" A few of the titles: Rock and Roll Roundup, Movie Teen Illustrated, Movie Life, TV Star Parade, Confidential, TV People, Song Hits, and Private Lives. Most are approximately 8.5" x 11" and the conditions range from Fair to Fine.
