Connie's copy of Life's The First Fifty Years: 1936-1986. 4. A stack of promo pictures signed by Connie. 5. Dick Clark's The First 25 Years of Rock & Roll program, signed by Connie. 6. A program from the 33rd Annual Academy Awards, signed by Connie. 7. 45s for "My Happiness" signed by Connie, as well as promotional items and sheet music. 8. Various contracts signed by Connie.     More Information: Contracts include: Five total, all from General Artists Corporation, including: 1) a yellow copy, dated "1st March 1957," for the singer's engagement at Club Safari in Flushing, New York, signed in blue ballpoint ink in the lower left corner "Connie Francis," further signed by her decades later in black felt-tip ink in the middle right; 2) a white photocopy of #1; 3) a yellow copy, dated "21st November 1958," for the singer's engagement at the Paramount Theatre in Brooklyn, New York, signed in green ballpoint ink in the lower left corner "Connie Francis," further signed by her decades later in black felt-tip ink in the middle right; 4) a yellow copy, dated "23rd April 1959," for the singer's engagement at the Fairgrounds in Detroit, Michigan, signed in blue ballpoint ink in the lower left corner "Connie Francis," further signed by her decades later in black felt-tip ink in the middle right; 4) a mimeograph copy, dated "7th April 1959," for the singer's engagement at Roseland Ballroom in Taunton, Massachusetts, signed decades later in black felt-tip ink in the middle right "Connie Francis;" all housed in a black folder with the singer's silver felt-tip ink signature on the cover. (Please note all contracts are somewhat brittle due to age.)

I remember one time having to do as many as eight shows all in one week-end for the whopping pay of $150 -- where was I gonna spend it all? I also remember I had to type up these contracts myself because my manager couldn't afford his own secretary at the time!"
