Buddy Holly Chirping Crickets LP Worn Coat (1957). This could be one of the most iconic stage-worn jackets from the 1950s that we have offered. This light gray suit jacket has the tag on the inside pocket that reads "London Style Clothiers 200 West 49 th St. New York." Inside the pocket, on a tag for owner information, it just says "Budd." This was one of the most recognizable jackets that Buddy wore during his short career.
As told by Buddy's brother Larry Holly, "Buddy wore this suit jacket while performing on stage during various concert performances." He adds "This is also the same jacket that Buddy was wearing on the That'll Be The Day, The Chirping Crickets, and Buddy Holly Showcase album covers." Condition: Very Good.
