Buddy Holly - Buddy And Bob Business Card c. 1953. Rock & Roll giant and Pop music pioneer Buddy Holly performed in the duo "Buddy and Bob" early in his career. The duo performed Country and Rhythm and Blues on the radio station KDAV, and played live shows around his hometown of Lubbock, Texas. This business card is a glimpse into one of the earliest spots in the career of a legend in the grand landscape of popular music. It's standard business card size, measuring approximately 2" x 3" with the "Buddy and Bob" logo and two book ending music notes in red centered on the card, with "Western and Bop" placed directly below the logo. The names Buddy Holley (the original spelling before a typo changed it), Larry Welborn and Bob Montgomery in black across the top, including the address of the KDAV radio station and the name of their business manager, Hi Pockets Duncan in the bottom corners. In Excellent condition, with only a tiny bend in the top right-hand corner. From the Halidon Corp. Collection.
