    Black Sabbath / Van Halen 1978 Tour Memorabilia Group. A selection of material almost entirely from the second North American leg of Sabbath's 1978 tour in support of their eighth Ozzy Osbourne-fronted LP, Never Say Die!, with support from up-and-coming Hard Rock legends Van Halen. Includes: 1) a navy-blue zip-up cotton sweatshirt with the front printed "Texas Tour '78 / Stone City Attractions" in white with what appears to be an illustration of Toni Iommi inside a white star on the left breast, and the back emblazoned with "Stone City Presents / Black Sabbath and Van Halen", size large; 2) a black cotton t-shirt, label printed "Medium 38 -40", with the Showco, Inc. logo on the front and Sabbath's logo on the back, both in red; 3) a size large (42-44) black cotton t-shirt printed with "Turn It Up" on the front and "Black Sabbath / Van Halen / Oakland Coliseum...December 2, 1978" on the back, both in blue; 4) a group of six Black Sabbath backstage passes, including dates November 9, 11, and 18 from the tour as well as others, sizes ranging from 3.5" x 3.5" to 5.5" x 3.5"; 5) a backstage pass from the Nov. 19, 1978 show at the Sam Houston Coliseum in the form of a 3" pinback button; 6) two guitar picks stamped with the text "Manny's Heavy". Conditions range from Good to Very Good Plus, with all pieces showing considerable wear from age, especially shirts and passes.
