    Description

Beatles Yesterday and Today Third State "Butcher Cover" Mono LP (Capitol T 2553, 1966). A great peel job shows the infamous "Butcher Cover" of the Fab Four's ninth Capitol album, Yesterday and Today in all its controversial glory. Though the sleeve exhibits soiling, fraying, and some separation around the edges, with some light staining on the verso, the highly-sought cover is bright and clear! The pressing plant number is "6" indicating manufacture at either Los Angeles or Winchester, Virginia. Includes the original orange inner sleeve advertising other Capitol releases, as well as the two letters from Capitol Records apologizing for the cover art and explaining the recall. Condition: VG-EX 6 (sleeve)/ VG-EX 6 (disc).
