Beatles St. Louis Handbill, Ticket Stub, Newspaper Clipping, and Contest Letter (1966). On August 21, 1966 at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Missouri the Lads from Liverpool played a roughly eleven-song set to over 23,000 adoring fans. Those in attendance were incredibly lucky, as only four shows later, the Beatles would cease touring for the remainder of their existence. Here is a handbill advertising that very show, showing portraits of each band member next to their respective facsimile signature. Also included is a ticket stub from the event for section 167, row 20, seat 3, as well as a letter and envelope from St. Louis radio station KXOK addressed to Sophie Tucker, informing her she's won a a ticket to the show. Finally, included here is a 1.5" x 6" newspaper clipping promoting the event. Items measure 6.75" x 10.75" and smaller, and minus the ticket stub, show considerable wear and evidence of previous mounting. Very Good.
