Beatles-Related Yoko Ono Signed Conceptual "Bag" with John Lennon and Ono Books. A 42" x 72" white "bag" (originally a bed sheet from John and Yoko's wedding night) which Ono performed in at a Town Hall performance, inscribed "Town Hall '73" and signed by Ono in blue felt tip. The performance was the last time she performed in a bag, and was a reference to the "bagism" line in "Give Peace a Chance", representing the concept of attaining peace through the elimination of discrimination. Afterwards, she purportedly gifted the item to performer David Peel. The bag is accompanied by a copy of the catalog from the 1985 Sotheby's auction it was originally featured in; first edition copies of the books In His Own Write and A Spaniard In the Works by Lennon and Grapefruit by Ono, as well as a handwritten letter of authenticity from Peel; a photo of the Plastic Ono Band performing at the Lyceum in 1969, with a handwritten caption by Peel on the reverse. Items are in overall Very Fine condition with some areas of soiling to the bag.
