DescriptionBeatles Membership Card Printing Plate, 1964. A metal plate on a wooden block, text reads "This is to Certify that / is a member in good standing of the / Beatlemaniac / Fan Club / No. 6995;" used by the printer to print up the cards for all the teenyboppers who joined this club which was advertised in the back of 'Dig' magazine; also included are eight receipts dated from March to May of 1964 noting that 'Dig' magazine ordered these membership cards (as well as Beatles-related bulletins, labels, letters, and bios) and a special 1964 copy of 'Dig' titled "The Beatles Talk!" Lot was consigned directly by the man who was the printer for this fun job 50 years ago!
