    Description

Beatles "Love Me Do" 45 Single (Nigeria - Parlophone 45-R 4949 NI). What makes this pressing of the Beatles immortal first single such an impressive find is that first - it's a rare Nigerian pressing, and second - it shows Paul McCartney's name misspelled as "Paul McArtney." This single is an ultra-rarity that is highly sought after by Beatles collectors, especially those in the UK, as this Nigerian pressing is the only version outside of the UK press that shows McCartney's name misspelled. Though it features the stock black label that was used in England, it was overprinted by EMI Nigeria when it arrived there, indicating it was to be distributed under EMI. Not something the average Beatlemaniac sees every day! Condition: EX 7.
