    Description

    Beatles Licorice Box of Record Candies (UK, circa 1963). A very cool and rare display item. Clevedon Confectionery (Blackpool) Ltd. made these under license; a 4" flat round piece of licorice with a paper photo insert inside a "picture sleeve" called "Long Eating Liquorice Records" with a list of the early Beatle hit records shown and priced "10 cents." Contains no pieces of licorice. Comes with an original UK display box approximately 10" x 5" x 2.375", made to hold thirty-six of the records for sale at retail. In Good condition with creasing, fading, and discoloring. Also includes a newspaper clipping advertisement that measures 3" x 4.5".
