Beatles Hair-Related Memorabilia Items (Four). The Beatles were certainly known for their hair length and style, so it was natural for manufacturers to bring out hair-related products, included as follows. (1) An original 1964-era Beatle Hair Brush in white still sealed in original packaging, 4" x 7" in overall size, with the free "Autographed Picture Card" included, made by Belliston Products of Ogden, Utah, and sold for 39¢. Included with it is a reproduction of the promotional flyer. (2) A 1960s Beetle Comb on sealed 5" x 9.75" display card with an ugly bug included, "Comb the Beetles Out of your Hair". Made by Papco of Roslyn, Long Island, this was not a licensed product and the word Beatles is not used. (3) A modern non-functional metal hairspray can, 8" tall x 2.625" diameter, with a later reproduction of the pink label glued around. An attractive "placeholder" in your collection until you obtain an original. (4) A 14.75" long red comb by Lido UK; the Beatles label from the top is present but no longer glued on. Possibly a later issue. All items in Very Fine or better condition. From the Uwe Blaschke Beatles Collection.
