    Description

Beatles - German Made Decorative Guitar With Beatlesque Tableau (Circa 1964). A 17.5" plaster guitar with bronzed finish featuring four very Beatlesque three-dimensional mop top heads on the body. Made by the German firm Achatit Schirmer in Cologne who also made the rare Beatles cork stoppers. Apparently the maker didn't want to arouse the ire of the Beatles licensing police as the figures are quite indistinct, depicting only a sort of generic mop top. Some slight wear to three of the four Fab Four's noses with some light wear around the edges and two very small cracks - one between two of the heads, and one on the reverse side, still in Very Good condition. From the Connie and Dennis Dailey Monumental Beatles Collection.
