    Description

Beatles Complete Set of Four Revell Models with Boxes, Completely Assembled and Painted (US, 1964). All four models, complete with their original 6.25" x 9.5" x 2.25" color boxes announcing that "this beautiful detailed reproduction... is so life-like that it is a 'must' for every teen-age room. A few simple pieces... a few dabs of paint... and JOHN [or Paul, etc] will be your very own!" They apparently felt a need to add some descriptive text to the Beatles names on the box. Paul was "The Great McCartney," John was "Kookiest of Them All!," George was "Lead Guitar - Loud and Strong," and Ringo was "Wildest Skins in Town." Conditions as follows. John: Figure is Very Fine, box is somewhat worn with a paper tear from a price sticker removal, Very Good. Paul: Figure is Fine save for one foot and the base needing glue repairs, box is a bit crushed and has surface damage, Very Good. George: Figure and box both Very Fine, instruction sheet not present. Ringo: Figure's lower left arm and foot needs re-gluing, box has light wear and a $1.50 price written in ink, Very Good. From the Uwe Blaschke Beatles Collection.
